August Wilhelm Dressler has recently been rediscovered as an important protagonist of the New Objectivity movement, especially Verism, and his works have been featured in exhibitions at both the Leopold Museum and the Landesmuseum Linz. He also had a solo exhibition at Museum Haus Opherdicke in 2017.
