The artist and caricaturist Paul Flora is characterised by his unmistakable ink pen stroke in fine hatching and his black humour. The grumpy Tyrolean, an original like most of his characters, manages to reverse the balance of power and hold on to it - an allusion to the French occupation during the Second World War. The large format is extremely rare!
