Barbara Mungenast, born in 1967 in Steyr, lives and works in Vienna. From her training in sculptural design, she developed an interdisciplinary body of work spanning object art, design, installation, and painting, now distinguished above all by psychological depth and formal clarity. Exhibitions, awards, and a documented presence at auctions underline her professionally established position. Women in Art is an initiative by Fürstenweg Unique Fine Art, which curates this selection. Its aim is to increase the visibility of emerging and established female artists in the art market.
