Standard taxation The painting depicts a closely spaced group of majestic poplars set within a blooming summer meadow beneath a radiant blue sky. In the background, a wide rolling landscape opens up, at the foot of which a small flock of sheep is grazing. Stylistically, the composition combines an Impressionist approach to color with clearly perceptible influences of Art Nouveau, particularly evident in the ornamental, rhythmic structuring of the tree formations and the flowing composition.
